Hi!
You are right on most counts here :)

We certainly need more serious artists to help polish things up! The
game development is coming along very nicely at
www.ecardmodels.com/forum - feel free to stop by!

On to your questions:

Everyone who particiapates will get on page 1 of the game instructions
that will include how they helped and whatnot (typical credits kind of
thing) and maybe a pic/bio in the last pages.

Self promotion yes, most defintely. But you cant resell it to anyone
for anything else.

like my card model business I have no intention of selling this to
anyone else. My main goal for this game is to promote card models to a
broader segment of people, not to turn a profit (although I do hope
for some, it would be silly not too) The core game will be purely
mine, i will own all rights to the core game(s). This will be for
marketing purposes mostly and I do hope to get this into brick and
mortar stores to promote our hobby even further. I expect most profits
on the game to be earned via model and race add ons. The designers of
the races and/or models will get 80% of those profits which will be
sold exclusively through my web shop. I plan on selling the races and
models seperately so the creative writers can make earnings on race
sales and designers earn on models sales.

We have most of the game basics done and are actually working on
tweaking rules and getting more interesting game play working. We
currently have designers working on the models for the two core races.
I hope to get more work done on add ons before game release so that
designers/writers can earn some money relatively quickly if the game
takes off!
Thanks :D
Chris
