Hi Mike,

I'm with everyone else, stick with Epson. I just updated from the Photo R390
to the Artisan 835. Print speed and features being my reason for the update,
there is nothing at all wrong with the R390, actually it is now connected to
my son's pc.

I have had Epson printers for quite a while and have NEVER had any problems
with them and as the network admin at my work I am also responsible for all
the printers there. ALL our injects except 1 are Epsons and have never given
us any trouble, to be fair the 1 non Epson has never given us any trouble
either ( a canon btw ) but the person who uses it is always complaining
about the speed, or lack there of, of the canon.

So for my money I will be sticking with Epson.

George

Mike,

Stick with the Epson or go with a Canon.
Never had a bad Epson, and I run them to death.

Hi all,

Time for another reply. I have been very quiet on this forum for a long
time.
Still working on paper models, though. Albeit at a slow pace.

I once bought an Epson and never looked back. I'm on my third Epson.
They never let me down. I once used a cheap refill and THAT was a
mistake....
The ink dried up and my Epson became useless right there and then.
Not Epson's fault, let that be clear.
I NEVER had any problems with my Epsons, as long as I used high quality
ink. They also have good software. In combination with my good old
Paint Shop Pro 3 drawing program ( yeah....it's a dinosaur, I know...) I
ALWAYS
get the result I want. And in the rare occasion that I do not, it's usually
my
own mistake.
And since they have a very good price-performance ratio, don't be surprised
if my next printer will be an Epson, too.

Erik.
