The way I look at it, when looking at midrange printer units only (not multifunctions), I would pay a bit more and get a good HP machine. Espon and HP are owned by the same company now (like HP and Compaq), but canon is slowly catching up.
Personally, I own a brother A3 multifunction that does an OK job. (good for just "fun" stuff) - a HP Laser jet (colour) that I rarely use due to costs, but it does a fantastically wicked print job, a HP designjet large format that I am in love with (after all, it's a specially designed photo printer that orginally cost over $4k au) and my work multifunction is a Canon fax etc. I also like what Jayo said - take something with you to compare. :) But HP is my preference. :) I also have a HP 5550 that I used for years - until I started collecting the others. LOLOLOL Good luck on your journey! Mandy On 7 January 2011 18:50, Mike Cifra <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi all, Its coming near the time when I'll be needing to replace my > Epson CX3900 printer.
