Mike-

By now, everyone will have told you how reliable the Epson printers are, and how good the image quality is, and I agree. However, I just disposed of a virtually new one, because it printed out everything 2.5% short across the narrow paper width. Lengthwise dimensions, on the other hand, were exactly right. It was a pretty subtle fault, and took me a long time to figure out why parts weren't fitting properly. . That was my first Epson, after many years of using Canon printers. I've now gone back to Canon. If you are fixated on Epson, make up a test PDF file of a 7' x 7" square, or use a model file that has a reference length boundary on it, and have the salesperson print it out for you, then measure it with a good scale. Could save you a lot of headaches later on.

Then again, maybe I'm full of prunes...

Hi all, Its coming near the time when I'll be needing to replace my
Epson CX3900 printer. What's a good inkjet or laser printer currently
available.
