You'll have to sort around and try several Photo papers Many are not
compatible wilt all inks.

Try Ilford.

Subject: [Papermodels II 45859] Which paper to use.

I'm fairly new to the paper modeling hobby. I've built some sci-fi, one 1/72
and two 1/32 aircraft and one 1/18 car. All of these I've built from card
stock. Recently, I decided to step it up and try assembling on photo paper
but didn't have very good results. I have an HP Deskjet 5440 photo printer
and was using HP glossy photo paper. My issue was that even after about a
day, even though the ink was dry to the touch, it still came off just from
the slightest touch like paper moving on top of it of accidently with a
fingertip. Needless to say, I've become quite dissappointed with this type
of assembly as it isn't as much fun.

My question is, for cars, is there a safe spray gloss finish I can apply
after assembly?

Thanks

Brian
