Izwe Lethu,

We are in danger of answering this question raised very superficiouly.
This question properly answered, has an inherent posibility of killing
sacred cows. Questioning the assumed obvious can open new knowledge.
We must not fall into a trap of teaching instead of critically
engaging each other on this matter. We must know that the National
Commissar does not ask this question from a point of limited reading
but from a point of observing contriduction in language of party
members. The crisis of party members moving to ideological
incomparable parties (like DA) is signaling shortfalls in the party.

There are few points that should agreed upon as bases of verifying
solidness of our ideology:
1. Material dailatics is great analysis methodology.
2. The fact that revolution is science that can and should learned and
mastered.
3. Personal experiance is limited or mislead method of political,
social and economic analysis.
4. Revolutionaries learn from other revolutions, attempted revolutions
and characters.
5. World operates within undesirable economic and social structure.

If we agree on the above, then, the challenge changes from
disagreement on substance to our ability to divorce dogma and
obsession with contributors to pool of knowledge (science of
revolution). Our ideology is not about Marx or Sobukwe but about
designing and articulating the future society our party desires. It is
about anticipating challenges that will prevent the manifestation of
our vision and defining step to make it happens.

The Basic Document and Africanist Manifesto in particular does the
above. Time and growth are now challenging the document. We need
addition with complex document to expand on basic document. I must
indicate that as much as I appreciate Sobukwe's contribution, the
party cannot depend of speeches directed to various audiance for its
ideological direction.

We must read other parties documents but we must adopt our world view.
World view inform by contrete conditions and lessons from other
revolutions
