Hi Garry, I did do that once just to show my syance teacher that it could be done. It really impressed him! But that was my JVC witch put a powerful 30 watts per channal in to a pare of 6 and a half inch wolfers and a pare of 1 inch horn loded tweaters. This was a big boom box, and it was heavy. But it packed a powerful sound. I wish they still made them like that today. My 15 year old SONY sounds pretty good, but not like the JVC I had. John Price.
