Saturday, April 2Competitors and coaches arrived at 9:30am and waited much of the day for the breeze to fill in and the rain to stop. At 3:30pm we started the first race as a nice southerly filled in and slowly shifted to the west/southwest throughout the rest of the day. 4 A-division races and 3 B-division were sailed on W4 courses in 8-15 knots. No protests and racing concluded after a very long day just after 6pm. Thanks to Peter Bailey (Brown '15) for judging, Justin Assad (Dartmouth Coach) for being the ICSA Rep, all of the Brown sailors for running races, and Photographer Rob Migliaccio for taking some great pics that will be posted on the NEISA Facebook soon. Race 4B is scheduled for an amended 9:30am warning with the hopes of getting in some more races if the forecast cooperates. Fingers crossed!
