Greetings!

I just moved to the 'burbs, and just used Remote Access for the first time.
At the old house, closer to the city, with much older wiring and a much
older subdivision, I could dial in with 48000 to 49333 speeds. However, the
new house, same computer setup, only connects at 24000. I installed a
serial speed utility after the first couple of connections, and found no
improvement, so basically I realize it is probably a problem with the phone
line. Is there anyway to test this before I start yelling at the telco?
Any experience with these problems? I was going to order DSL, but if the
dialup service bites, then the DSL will probably not be as swift either.

Thanks!
