Hello to everyone,
I have been having trouble with random disconnection from the internet for
months. My server suggested it was noise on the phone lines that is causing
the problem. Have had the phone techs out to test the lines and they say
the lines are clear. I read a list message yesterday that suggested FreePPP
is more stable than Apple Remote Access. I have downloaded FreePPP and I am
now using it to connect. Can anyone tell me whether they have found FreePPP
to be more stable than ARA. I have only been using it for 24hrs but so far
I haven't been disconnected once.
