Stutter is a known issue with some Sonnet G3 upgrade cards. I had it bad on
my 6400 and tried everything from a PowerCenter PCW Timing extension to
maxing out on RAM. I finally gave up and don't run anything in the
background when listening to MP3's. Small but adequate sacrifice for the
additional speed of the G3. Probably ought to buy a G4 to make Steve happy,
but my kids would probably destroy it. By the way, anybody know a good way
to glue keys back on the keyboard?

I thouroughly recommend iTunes, it 100% free, is a simplified version of
SoundJam. I am running it on my 9500 MP3 server, no stutter, uses a very
small amount of ram (8MB), supports Tags, encodes from CD etc.
