3 weeks ago I bought a 128MB DIMM from Velocity Upgrades for my 7500
(604/180) to go with the 128 MB DIMM I already have. When I installed
the DIMM the 7500 booted up fine and it ran fine all day. The
following day I turned it on got the start-up chime and nothing else.
After resetting the 7500 it booted up fine and ran fine all day. It
does this every day. I took out the older DIMM and the newer DIMM
produces exactly the same effect. This sounds to me like a bad DIMM.
Nonetheless Tech Tool Pro says the DIMM is fine.

My question is: is there anything else that might be causing this
problem that I should check before I send the chip back for a
replacement?

Thanks,
