Hi all,
could I get some advice on which used 7x00 to buy? I've found a used
7300/200 and a used 7600/120 at good prices, both have about 120MB RAM; the
7600 is about $100, the 7300 about $150.
If I don't resell a "spare" G4/400 Zif I have, I'd like to upgrade one of
the 7x00 with the G4, together with an XLR8 Carrier card I have lying
around, maybe stick in another 256MB RAM (I have 128 on hand, would have to
buy the second bank, though prices are super cheap). Obviously this all
depends on whether I get a good offer for the Zif and Carrier on their own;
also on the price I can get on the 7x00, because at a certain point a used
iMac would be a better Mac for the same money.
Anyway, any recommendations re. the best 7x00? Would the 7300 be better able
to use the G4/400, given the faster bus?
Anyone using a similar setup?
