No idea about the PowerComputing card, but SmallDog has a G3 
daughtercard that will work for only $125.

If you can format with the Apple drivers, I would recommend you do so. 
Any benefit FWB may have to offer is outweighed by the hassle if you 
upgrade your OS, etc.
