Certainly not with a add in card you can't power up from USB. The first iMacs can power on from their USB keyboard. I think Apple abandoned this as it made the USB non-standard. ADB actually has a signal which is grounded to start. It's a simple switching circuit so it isn't sensitive to static or other such problems. It won't matter if it's plugged in with only the standby power on. I've never seen any warnings about not plugging / unplugging ADB while the computer is plugged into wall power but off, only about when the computer is on. > >David Allen > >"R.A.
