>Os 9.1 won't install from cd. Is my processor not fast enough? I get a >message saying ' this software can not be installed on your computer, >refer to manual.'
Is it a computer specific CD? >Currently running os 8.5; I want to get usb going so bought the pci to usb >card but need 8.6 or higher for this to work. Nah, USB will work with OS 8.0. That's what the first iMac came with. You probably just need to find the USB extension old enough to run on 8.5. You could also update to 8.6 (it's free), which would be a good idea anyway. >Also my original harddrive is only 1 gig. Is this big enough to install >9.1 or do I need a larger one? It'd be nice to get a bigger one, but 1GB should work. -- Alex Allee [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------- Visit EnigMac!
