I've searched IBM.com and all over the web and can't locate a site to tell me where to put the jumpers on a 2 gig, Tandem 4255-1, HD. Does anyone have any ideas on this. the jumper pins are like this :
::::.::: there are no labels on the drive to tell me what they are. the drive will init and format both quick and low-level with no errors, but will not show up on the desk top . I can use one of any apps to mount it with no problems, but if the 8500 is shutdown , it will not self mount to the desktop. I installed OS9.1 and several apps on it. It runs fine, tho.
