In my case, both TTP3 and Ramometer thought the RAM was great. Also, the same RAM gave no problems in a 7600, only in the 7300. So either a) there's some kind of timing problem I don't understand, types of RAM or something, or b) the RAM slots themselves are problematical.
Glen said he also tested with Ramometer and found no probs. His solution was to use only one kind of RAM and de-interleave. Which makes me wonder, again--could it be that the 7300 is sensitive to some subtle timing issues among RAM sticks that the 7600 is oblivious to? --Anna Hello, Jim Arnott!
