Thanks Anna I did have a fleeting thought about removing the cache. The
original processor card in this machine was an xlrx8 604e 200MHz. I had to
downgrade it to 180 MHz after I adding the 512 cache. Only when I installed
a Newertech 604e 200 MHz processor could I run at 200 MHz with no problems.

The only problem with pulling the 512k cache (I have no 256k cache to replace
it) is I get a 25% or so boost from it -- much more of a boost than
interleaving the RAM . If I have time this weekend I'll give it a try just to
see if there is any relationship.

I could try this "new" RAM in my 7500 G3/466 MHz. However it is my main
production machine and really don't want to risk any downtime. The 7500 has
similar RAM to the "old" RAM pulled from the 7300 (4-128 MB Velocity chips
bought last year; fully interleaved) and is very stable.

Today I ran RAMometer on the 7300 for 1 1/2 hours with no problems detected.
Didn't have time to redo the TTP RAM test. All apps (Photoshop, Quark,
Pagemaker, Acrobat, Illustrator, MS Word, Powerpoint, Netscape, and AOL) are
working as they should and the network speed is normal.

When time permits I may try to interleaving the "old" RAM with the "new" RAM.
They maybe be close enough to interleave but not close enough to cause the
network speed problem. I'll post the results -- provided I do not have
another electrical black out as I did today. Guess this small New England
town can't handle 90 degrees in April (not sure if I can ;-).

Also thanks to all others who responded to this issue. Sorry for the long
post.
