What did you plug it into? I plugged my 160 GB Maxtor into a
Sonnet Tempo ATA-100 PCI card in a stock 9600/350 and now the 9600
won't start up (Stops at the smiling mac face. Smiles but goes no
farther) unless I unhook the Maxtor.
I looked at Maxtor's site and they said there were issues
running anything larger than 137 GB on an ordinary card. The
information looked like it was for Windows PC's but I assumed I must
have run into some kind of the same issue in my Mac?
