Hi everyone,

Being into my first two days of OS 8.6 and having
only known the 7s, something new is confusing
to me.

I'm doing my dialup as usual via the OT/PPP
Control Panel, but there on my Finder sits
Remote Access Client in a folder by the same name.

At the end of my OS 8.6 installation I had to move the
"Remote Access Extension" from "Disabled" to Extensions and
dialup was and is fine.

But upon trying to subscribe from within a website
I was redirected to the internet config CP, filled it out
returned to the site, was sent back to the Internet Config
where the settings had dissappeared.
I have both IE 4.5 and NCommunicator 4.5 -installed
but I'd prefer standalones, and prefer my default email as
my Eudora Pro 3 ( which is working flawlessly).

Is the Remote Access Client, which seems to have the same
fill-in fields as OT/PPP, meant to REPLACE
OT/PPP when running OS 8.6 or work in conjunction with?
i.e., should I lose the PPP and drag the Remote Access Client
from the finder into Control Panels?

Thanks,
Terry
