Hello all, I've got an 8600/G3/500, 1/2 Gig RAM, running OS9.1, which is fairly fresh. I just updated Internet Exploder to 5.1.3 and Lookout Express to 5.0.3. This was an attempt to fix troubles getting on line with Comcast's cable modem. Can't say it helped that problem, but now it takes a long time to load a page for the 1st time (60-90 secs.). I get great download speed when pulling downs pics or MP3's, and navigating trough a site is fine, too. Comcast tech support had me trash the cache, history, and cookies. Memory's bumped up from 11792 to 19392, all along. The Microsoft site's no help at all - there's a surprise !
Machine runs great for any other app. Any ideas out there in email-land ? Mark Ginn [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
