Toast 5 Titanium comes with a thing called CD Spin Doctor, which is
designed just for the purpose of getting the music off of phonograph
records and burning it onto CD's. It has facilities for
reducing/removing the clicks, pops, and noise that often plague analog
recordings. You will need an RIAA preamp of some sort between the
turntable and the Mac's audio inputs.
