>Apple Multiple scan 17in Display hightest resolution is 1024 x 768 In OS 9 1024 x 768 is a very comfortable resolution for a 17in monitor but I find 1152 x 870 on a 17in monitor better in OS X due to the large icons and text. The default size of the icons and text seem unnecessarily large to me. Although, I haven't looked into it, I imagine there is a way in OS X to make the icons and text smaller. I continue to try to make OS X more like OS 9 which is what I feel more comfortable with.
