Your response surprised me. I had previously gotten a non-powered hub 
and couldn't get things like Wacom tablet to work. Got error messages 
of not enough power. That's when I returned it for the powered hub. I 
think listers here told me to get the powered hub. By the way, I'm on 
a 9600/233. Would like to hear from others on this (not that it 
affects me or what I have-just curious as to why powered wouldn't 
work).
