-----------------
In my book, and as a current user of 6 of them, the 9600/300
or 9600/350 is the way to go. My upgraded 9600/350's are currently
working alongside my G3 and G4. I now leave the stock processor in
because I have not liked the upgraded processors that much (I have a
9600/300 with an XLR-8 G4/450 processor upgrade and a 9600/200 with
an XLR-8 G3/500 processor upgrade) and I find that when run from a
Ultra 160 PCI card and fast SCSI hard drive, with a good video card
and plenty of RAM, the 9600/350 does the job for me. I am primarily
into graphics/photoshop.
