Excellent choice IMO. I've got about $550 into my 7300 (bought for $60
and upgraded, G4/450/1M, 576 MB, 32MB Nexus 128, usb card & ATA100 card
w/40 gig drive). Considering its limited potential going forward, I'd
have probably been better off buying something like a Sawtooth G4, but I
like the beige machines. Would have cost me several hundred more than
the 7300 as presently configured - for sure- at the time I bought it.

Wouldn't be too hard to shave $150-$200 off the top of that if you go
with a G3 card instead and look around for a used ATA66 card.

FWIW, I just finished installing OS X.1 onto it w/XPostFacto. Had to
configure the L2 and install the new ATI drivers after the fact, but
hey, it doesn't run bad at all :)

Anyone know of a free utility or game that will give me an idea of how
well my graphics card is working ?
