A little unclear what you mean here.  Do you have the Windows machine 
configured as a gateway?  If so, what are you using, Internet 
Connection Sharing?

DAVE did the same thing to me.  The FAQs on the Thursby web site 
suggest booting with extensions off, which will then allow the DAVE 
setup program to finish through.  After that, it is unclear how you 
can browse the Windows network.  It really isn't documented well, and 
I suspect it is a problem with Windows filesharing not being set up 
right on the PC side of things.  I personally don't like DAVE very 
much --- it isn't as easy as it claims to be.

What I tend to do instead is turn Web Sharing on for all computers on 
my network and just drop files I want available on the other machines 
into the document root.  I also have a BSD box set up as a bridge 
between my Macs and PCs, although she is currently down for a major 
system overhaul.
