I assume since the other Windows machines on your network are 
working, that ICS is configured properly.

Do you have your Mac set up to use DHCP using the TCP/IP control 
panel?  ICS likes DHCP better than manual configuration, and I'm not 
quite sure why.

I'm sorry, my original post should have read, "with all extensions 
off except for DAVE extensions."  The FAQ further explains how to do 
that with Extensions Manager, but I can't seem to find the damned 
link...

Both the Macs and PCs.  In Mac OS 8.x and up, there is a simple "Web 
Sharing Control Panel" built right in.  Works like a charm.  On the 
PC side of things, I run Windows Personal Web Sharing, turned on by 
going into "Add/Remove Programs" and clicking on the appropriate 
checkbox under the Windows setup tab.

Correct, I have a hotlink button on all my browsers that pops open a 
list of the other machines on my network.  Then, I just click on the 
right machine, and voila! a list of files appears.
