Hello Again

Based on Neal's e-mail string may I make the following suggestions:

1.Bootup on your 1GB drive

2. Open the Apple system Utilities Folder and open Drive Setup

3. Select one of the IDE drives , select Initialize and select Low level
Format and HFS+ from the respective Options Menues Note: all data on drive
will be erased.

4. After completing low level format on that drive (note: it takes some
time-be patient), reinstall your OS9.1 from the CD

5. This drive should now be bootable

6. If it does not then the only conclusion drawn is that the SIIG 133 card
you have is not compatible with OS9.1 on your 7300!. But I personally have
a hard time believing this (see ** below) , but then I would go to www.sig.
com and try to contact their technical support team for "answers" about
compatibility issues with the 7300(good luck on this!)

albert

BTW 1. All my downloaded referenced "reviews" literature on the SIIG
ATA/133 PCI card is from Macworld; and xlr8yourmac with testing RAID on
a B&W G3 and a G4

**The SIIG specification sheet delineates system requirements as "----or
Mac computers with one available PCI slot----"

BTW2. Blessed system folder. If you open the System Folder, there should be
an Apple suitcase icon in front of System ( and Apple face icon in front
of Finder)
