I'm not sure. I haven't gotten around to trying this on my 7600. Have you checked the Macintosh AV FAQ at <http://www.sims.berkeley.edu/~jwang/cgi/av-faq/> > 2. Since the 7600 has no IDE bus (got it confused with the Beige G3 I > guess) and the CD player is SCSI, I should forget finding a CD burner for > internal installation and just get a USB card and external burner? I had a Ricoh SCSI CD-RW installed internally on my 7600 for a while. It worked fine. I changed it to external so I could use it on other machines. I would be inclined to follow the suggestion to get a Firewire/USB card. They don't cost that much and provide a lot of versatility. > 6. One more time . . .there are no 56k pci modems for the Mac, right? I'm pretty sure there never were PCI modems for Mac. There are Comm slot modems, but they are different. If you need a 56K serial or USB modem, let me know and maybe we can work a trade. tafkar "We're put here to help each other get through this, whatever it is" --Kilgore Trout -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
