Sorry, Can't be much help. I have a 9600/350. It had no video board in it when I got it. I put in iXMicro's TwinTurbo 8mb card and it worked ok. Later, when changing machines around, I put in a Voodoo 5500. I connected the second monitor and it worked.
It worked better when I installed the drivers, but it worked at a basic level right away, without drivers. John B.
