Hi Michael,

When you say that "it has not worked since," do you mean that the 
card is titzzhup? Are you talking about a zif carrier card?

    If the card seems dead, try zapping the pram 
(command-option-"P"+"R"). If that doesn't work, reset your cuda 
button (1-5 sec). Some manufacturers recommend pressing this button 
_before_ installing the card. Always unplug your power cord and 
hitting the startup button on your key board before installing card 
and hitting cuda button. Doing this will discharge the large power 
supply capacitors.


   You may try this at your own risk and with care: Take your battery 
out for 20 minutes; half a day or a full day and reinstall. Then go 
about your normal procedures.
