I put a 2940 in my PM 7500 than flashed it with a Mac bios. It now works and use all my 50 pin SCSI devices off of it. Its a Small Computer System Interface card (SCSI). Its basically just a mass storage interface. it allows the motherboard and in turn CPU to work with your hard drive, cd-rom, ect. Same thing as the 50pin conector on the motherboard itself, except this is faster and is an expansion card. It shoudl have the 50 pin SCSI interface and an ultra wide LVD SCSI interface you can use for newer SCSI III devices. The video card...eh I dunno. It converts digital media into an anolog signal your monitor can use.
