Thanks, that is the derned command I could not remember/find. Thanks to all those who have responded. I am going to try to trash the Afterdark from Start-up and then remove the mouse prefernces. I have changes the keyboard (with cable) and changed the mouse, using several different mice and or keyboards. This machine seems to be a bit flaky anyway. It boots every other time. I am going to try switching to a known good hard drive after I try the other ideas above. I am now leaning towards it being the ADB port. That being the case, I guess ths would become a scrap box to build another Frankenmac. The funny thing, I bought this really mainly for the 3fdg video card, believing it would work in Jaguar. It does not! Well, live and learn.
