Well, unless someone can tell me why I am wrong, I have concluded the
machine has a bad ADB port. Anyone have any diagnostic software?
I have changed keyboards, mice, (using known GOOD ones) I have used the
mouse and keyboards from this machine on other Macs and they work.
I have trashed mouse preferences, even replaced the hard disk with an
8.6 disk I have that works in another 9500.
No mouse movement from the upper left corner.
Does this cover everything or is there someplace else I can look before
I junk the motherboard.
If not, I am now stuck with the 3dfx card I cannot use, and a 9500
board that does not work.
Oh well, sometimes you are the windshield, sometimes you are the bug.
