Well, there are professional data recovery services, and although I don't have a price estimate, unless losing the info on the drive would cost you thousands or more if you lost it's almost certainly not worth it.
There are some last ditch efforts for freeing up the drive if it's just that it's stuck. I once had a drive in a thrift store Mac I could get to boot and run by dropping it on the table a couple times. I'd start by holding the drive flat in your hand and giving it a few good stiff turns and see if that does it.
