An 8600 should be available at about that price. Perhaps more for a 9600, unless you're VERY lucky. Both are magnificent machines, and are highly underappreciated. Be aware that there are non-Mach5 8600s and 9600s (233 MHz and below) and Mach5 8600s and 9600s (250 MHz and above). The Mach5 machines are fine as-is, but are somewhat more trouble to upgrade. The non-Mach5 machines are the least trouble to upgrade. I leave my 300 MHz Mach5 machines alone, and I upgrade my 200 MHz non-Mach5 machines to a G3 300 or 400 MHz.
