The processor daughter card controls the bus speed.  Some like 
PowerLogix let you change the bus speed, others like Sonnet don't (at 
least some don't).  I don't have any experience with XLR8 though.

A warning about overclocking though.  You can set it up and it will 
work but under other conditions it may not.  Temperature is one 
factor which can effect it.   Overclocking it by say 10% will give 
you at most a 10% speed increase and possibly less.  10% isn't much 
of a speed increase and, in my opinion, isn't worth the risk of the 
system crashing.
