The processor daughter card controls the bus speed. Some like PowerLogix let you change the bus speed, others like Sonnet don't (at least some don't). I don't have any experience with XLR8 though. A warning about overclocking though. You can set it up and it will work but under other conditions it may not. Temperature is one factor which can effect it.
