Try to find a card based on the Realtek RTL8139(A/B/C/D/8130)/810X
series chipset, in the UK these can be picked up for well under �20
(translates to about $30 US or $17 AU I think) and the manufacturer's
site has drivers for Mac os (classic and OSx).
However avoid the RTL8029 as that does not appear to be supported on
the Mac.
