If you plan to eventually burn DVD's (movies) then I'd say buy the iMac. I
THINK they can be gotten with the Superdrive. If not, then deciding what you
want the computer to end up with, and what it will cost to do that, would be
the way to go. To essentially max out the 7300 (I'm going by my 7600. I don't
know the differences between the two), as cheaply as possible, would cost
roughly:
Sonnet G4/800 $390
Sonnet Tempo Trio $180
ATI Radeon 7000 Mac edition $130
1 Gig Ram $200
40+ Gig HD $50
CD-RW $50
Total + or - $1000

Anything I'm forgetting folks?

Shall I upgrade my 7300/200 96k, if so with what?

Or should I buy a G4 iMac?

No I am not a tinkerer, no longer have anyone to call on for help, etc.

Thanks,
Teresa

PS where do I find Disk Doctor? >>
