Jason, 2-port, USB 1.1 cards work best with Old World Macs, preferably a name brand such as Belkin. If you need more ports use a powered hub. I have a generic card in a 7500, and though it works fine by itself for some reason it won't work with hubs. The Belkin in my 9600 gets along just fine with a powered hub, never any problems from it.
