The flup-flup-flup-... sound, which continues indefinitely until the line 
power is removed, indicates an overload *in* the power supply's secondary 
section (i.e., a power supply malfunction), or an overload *on* that section 
(i.e., in the load).

If due to the load, which is the mobo, then that specific mobo is likely 
dead. Otherwise, the power supply is likely dead.
