All the vendors and developers state that APPLE has openly refused to provide certain pieces of information that are needed for USB 2.x support to function on a Power Macintosh under Mac OS 8.1 through Mac OS 9.2.2.
Therefore, it certainly is quite possible for USB 2.x drivers or USB 2.x Extension and/or Control Panels to enable function under Mac OS, IF either APPLE's data is ever available and/or if users figure out other ways to do it apart from APPLE.
