Right ... Just like Quark said at one point that Apple was at fault 
that they couldn't move forward, like Roxio said that Apple had cut off 
CD burning info so they couldn't fix Toast 5 ... Developers have found 
Apple an easy target to claim that not enough info is available ... Is 
this always the case? No, Apple has done their fair of tech killing, 
but come on, USB 1.x works ... USB 2.0 is built on that tech ... Apple 
has stopped development for Mac OS 9, and that does mean that they will 
not add functionality to it, so if a developer needs something added in 
order to write their driver then Apple will not do it ... does that 
mean Apple is screwing everyone? No, USB 2.0 PCI cards are software 
compatible with OS X and OS X runs on all the hardware made in the last 
five years, if Apple were trying to force us to buy new Macs this 
wouldn't work well since while it would affect a number of Mac users it 
would not be a very effective way to do it ...
