When I get a unit that has mixed RAM (different sizes), at the cost of RAM now, I replace all of it at one time with the max the machine will hold. When I receive the Ram, before putting it in to the machine, I set them out and compare all markings and physical attributes to insure they are all the same. If they are not, I send them back. In the long run, it just makes things easier. I usually purchase mine from SMS Assembly. At the present time you could put 1GB (8 128s)in your machine for about $163.84 plus shipping. -- Fred....
