Linda,
According to the PNY website, there is not much difference in appearance,
but a 15% to 20% improvement in performance for EDO.  Of course, an 8500
will ignore the fact that the memory is EDO, so there will be no
improvement in that particular computer compared to FPM.  the article says
that slow PC's (less than 75MHz) will show some improvement with EDO.
