netscape 4.0.8 without the communicator and mailprogram - because the 
eat speed - just the browser - and eudora for email
that is the fastest, I have 166 mhz and I use explorer 5.1, but I 
have loads more ram and  a cable connection
if you choose to try explorer anyhow 5.1 is lighter and extensionfree -
you can also try netscape 2.0 but it wont run on to many pages anymore !
