Jerry, Thanks for all the information. I made a complete set of 7.5.3 floppies a while ago. Your remark above jogged my memory. I'll try to locate "DiskTools #2" and see if I can boot from the set of floppies I already made for the Quadra 605. Just in case that doesn't work I'll also check on my friend's CD of 7.5 and see if I can burn an istallation diskette for a PowerPC from there (this will have to be done on the Quadra because it's the only working Mac I have).
