An update: I've narrowed down the problem. If I have any devices hooked up to
the ATA ports on my Sonnet Tempo Trio and have the Skyline extensions and
control panel installed, it freezes. If I disable the Skyline software, the
ATA drive and my CD-RW & DVD/RW work normally. If I have the ATA devices
detached and have the Skyline stuff enabled, I can be running wireless. I
guess it's time to talk to Sonnet and Proxim. Any hardware gurus or
programmers have a clue as to what's going on? It almost sounds like the two
PCI cards are fighting for bus time, or having "I'm first" bus issues. I
don't think its an interference problem (for the Skyline card) from the
drives or ATA cables, as I routed the ATA cables away from the card, and it
freezes without the Skyline card installed.
